Restorative Yoga with Shamanic Drumming - In Person 11:00
Description
This class is held in person at the Wellness Within Center.
Restorative yoga is a gentle practice that uses props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks to support the body in each pose. This allows practitioners to maintain alignment while honoring their physical needs—especially during illness, injury, or limitations. The support encourages deep relaxation and release. Poses are held longer without strain, allowing their benefits to deepen. Each posture becomes a tool for awareness and a foundation for exploring body, breath, mind, and consciousness. We end the practice in Savasana, resting deeply as Monica offers healing rhythms with live drumming—supporting integration, grounding, and inner stillness.
Our classes and programs are funded by grants, sponsors, donors and clients who are paying it forward. Cancer can be expensive; we do not want finances to be a barrier to accessing our valuable programming. Pay-as-you-can with a suggested donation amount per class of $10-$25.
